Biography: 

She began her music education in 2006 in the Instrument Department of ITU Turkish Music State Conservatory. There she studied kemençe with İhsan Özgen, Hasan Esen and Neva Özgen.

In 2010, she attended TRT Youth Choir as kemençe player.

In 2012, she joined Istanbul Küğ Topluluğu under Haliç University.

In 2013, she attended the Erasmus Student Exchange program at the Niccolò Paganini Conservatory in Italy and their workshops. In the same year she joined “Galata Electroacoustic Orchestra,” comprised of faculty and students from ITÜ TDMK, Bilgi University, Niccolò Paganini Conservatory, Cagliari Palestrina Conservatory and Barcelona Pompeu Fabra university Conservatory as kemençe player, and performed at the Venice Biennale 58th International Contemporary Music Festival and Genova Piazza delle Feste in Italy.

In 2014, with the Galata Electroaccoustic Orchestra, she participated in the Bienal of Venice 58. International Comtemporary Music Festival.

In 2017 she began her graduate studies at Istanbul Technical University,  Performance Department Instrument-Voice Master Program and in 2018 attained her master’s degree with her dissertation “The Use Of The ‘Şarkı’ Form in Turkish Makam Music as ‘Taksim’ And a Method Of Study” under the supervision of Doç. Neva ÖZGEN KÖSOĞLU.

In 2018 she taught kemençe at Kubbealtı Akademisi Kültür ve Sanat Vakfı and Eyüp Musıki Vakfı. In the same year she was admitted to the doctorate program in Istanbul Technical University, Department of  Musicology and Music Theory.

In 2019 she performed improvisations in exhibitions at Remart Space, musically interpreting the themes and artwork. In the same year she performed in the Su Kasidesi Oratoryosu Project with the CRR Symphony Orchestra and Azerbaijani musicians.

Since September 2017 she has been a regular member of Hisar Ensemble.

Since May 2018, she has been working as a research assistant at Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory Performance Department.
