Hasan Vapur was born in Istanbul. He started to be interested in music from an early age and started to play the baglama. He completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul. Then he enrolled in Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory, Instrument Education high school department, Baglama branch. After 8 years of education, he graduated from the bachelor degree of the same department with first place.
In 2019, he performed at “ITU Baglama Günleri”. He took part in ITU Traditional Instruments Orchestra, TRT Istanbul Radio Youth Choir, “Kültür Yolu Festivali” concerts organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism with his instrument-vocal performance. He took part in the “Çanakkale Zaferi Kahramanlık Hikayeleri 10 Hikaye 10 Beste” project within the Çanakkale Troya Kültür Yolu Festival with his baglama. He took part in the European Research Council Workshop at ITU MIAM. In addition to taking part in many local and out-of-town concerts and events, he worked as an educator in various institutions.
He started his education in the master's program with thesis in Instrument-Voice Performance at Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory. With the Baglama - Oud Duo project they created, their single “Feridem”, which they performed with Buse Sever, was published on digital platforms in 2024 by Ahenk Music. Duo project and personal publication works continue. Hasan Vapur is currently working as an academician at Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory Instrument Education Department.
