She started her music education between 2008-2011 at Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory Performing Arts,Opera. Then, she graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Education, Music Department. For four years, she studied both Western and Turkish music theory. She took singing lessons from Opera actress Gökçen Gültek and artist Serkan Kocadere, studied piano with Oya Akyıldız, classical guitar with Fatih Bingöl, and Ney with Bilgin Canaz. During her university years, she's been as a student at University of Szeged, Music Department in Hungary for six months and she studied vocal techniques, vocal pedagogy; attended seminar, workshops and gave a number of concerts. She took part as a performer in national and international projects. Besides that, she got her Master Degree in Musicology at Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory. Her master thesis is about traditional Turkish-Greek songs sung in Greece. She studied the topic in the context of cultural identity and migration. Currently while doing PhD, working as a research assistant in the same department and she is going on her studies mainly in the area of Historical Musicology.
