Completed her master's degree in ITU Social Sciences Institute. She worked as the Head of the Department of Turkish Folk Music in the Department of Voice Education (1987-1997 3 semesters) She served as the Vice President of the Department of Turkish Folk Music (2000).
She studied on annotative Zeybek and Semah repertoire. She took place as a chorist and soloist on the Project of Yapı Kredi Bank Archive Studies CD’s . She gave concerts in various universities and concert halls in Turkey and abroad as a soloist also in radio and TV programs.
Her articles; A general approach to “Barak”, Overview - The Place in Turkish Folk Music (Motif Magazine 2006), The Place of Gurbet Themes in Turkish Folk Music (Motif Magazine 2002), The Importance of Terminology in Turkish Folk Music (Motif magazine2000) were published .In the year 2000, she was assigned as the General Coordinator of Art Programs at İspirtohane Culture Center. Still proceeds with her duties in ITU Turkish State Conservatory and Ispirtohane Culture Center.
