Biography:

During her high school and undergraduate education, she studied the flute and voice at İstanbul University State Conservatory. She was involved in several concerts as a member of TRT İstanbul Youth Choir and Cemal Reşit Rey Choir. She received her Master of Music degree from Istanbul Technical University, Dr. Erol Üçer Center for Advanced Studies in Music (MIAM) Lynn Trepel Çağlar. She performed in the world premiere of Ertuğrul Oğuzfırat’s work “Gerçek, Simge, Oyun”, which was later published by A.K. Music. She gave a recital of Turkish composers’ vocal works at Galatasaray University within the concert series of Philharmonic Association. She performed Necip Celal Andel’s and Faik Canselen’s works with Cihat Aşkın and Mehru Ensari. She gave a concert with Aydın Karlıbel with the title "Haydn meets Sultans: A Musical Voyage through Reminiscences" within the symposium organized by Don Juan Archiv Wien in Austrian Cultural Center. She sang the soprano part in the recording of Serdar Öztürk’s oratorio “Gallipoli”. She attended masterclasses of Prof. Cornelis Witthoeftt, Connie De Jongh and Antoine Palloc. Between the years 2004 and 2017, she taught advanced writing techniques to undergraduate engineering students in ITU School of Foreign Languages. She is at the dissertation stage of her PhD studies at Dr. Erol Üçer Center for Advanced Studies in Music (MIAM).
