She was born in Istanbul. She entered the Violin Department of Istanbul University State Conservatory
After graduation from Çemberlitaş High School. She also studied violin with Professor Ayhan Turan and
Madam Lily Statzer and Solfege and Harmony with Ferdi Statzer. Afterwards, she continued her education at ITU Turkish Music State Conservatory and carried out her viola studies with Erdoğan Saydam and Professor Özer Sezgin and her solfege and harmony classes with Demirhan Altuğ accompanied by various studies on Turkish music and giving concerts during this period.
She has also been participating in many concerts as a violinist and viola player within the scope of International Istanbul Festival and under the supervision of Professor Ruhi Ayangil of Boğaziçi University Turkish Music Club. She also gave long term lectures and workshops concerts on Music Theories at Yıldız Technical University. She graduated from ITU Turkish Music State Conservatory Department of Music Theory. She got her master's degree from ITU Institute of Social Sciences and Art Proficiency Program. She composed many works which were accepted by Turkish Music Repertory Supervisory Board to Turkish Music Repertoire. She wrote books titles "Beylik Aranağmeler in Turkish Music" (2nd edition 2017) and "Viola Education-1" published by Plan Publishing. She still teaches viola as an academic member and lecturer at ITU Turkish Music State Conservatory.
